Fucked

I like this concept because it sums up reality pretty nicely. When overwhelmed and utterly fucked the only option is to smile and focus up. Succumbing to the pressure can either plunge you into a pit of doom and procrastination or break you to the point of enlightenment, when you strive with motivation towards change and progress in completing the tasks at hand.

Fucked

Sometimes you look at where you are and what’s ahead and you think, “well.. I’m fucked!” A common phenomenon, as the journey never stops. Always progress to be made and tasks which need your attention. We always feel that we are not where we’re supposed to be, only reinforcing the feeling of fuckage and with an ever-increasing workload, life, or periods in it, can become truly overwhelming. Ruin bares down in workload or fuckups, maybe even just life circumstances have elicited a state of feeling pure fucked and all we wish to do is distract ourselves in an attempt to overlook the stress. Fucked could be a hail of assessment pouring down on you, could be work demands which are getting out of control, mistakes or events causing grievance, or even the impounding thought of life and what you wish to accomplish in it. Fucked is anything really, which gives you a sense that you’re fucked. Though you’re only fucked if your mind is fucked with it, sometimes it best to look at the fuckery, laugh and focus up to subdue it.

Focus Up

Sometimes all there’s left to do is to sit, note all the adversities confronting your mind and chuckle at the thought of it being so overwhelming. Once you let go of the resistance towards it, all that’s left to do is focus up. Most of the time when we are fucked, we become double fucked, cause not only is life working against us, but our minds do too. When you acknowledge that there’s a lot which needs your attention, and you accept that, then at least you aren’t double fucked. Ahh, what a relief, with our mind on our side use it to figure out what needs doing and how your gonna do it, take it one little step at a time. Competing with fuckage benefits you, cause it makes you uncomfortable, you are uncomfortable cause the situations or workload placed on you currently presents a challenge. When you overcome a challenge of a certain degree then all challenges of the same degree become a little easier in future. Base line productivity increases as well, if you can compete with an overwhelming challenge and come out on top, day to day work or chores become light work and you want to increase it to match your new standard. Laugh at the state of having so much to do, and so little time to do it. Challenge accepted, focus up and enlighten yourself with how much you can accomplish when you truly set your mind to something. Bypass those unhelpful thoughts.

Time

Time provides excellency in all things, if navigated correctly. With each challenge conquered or each adversity subdued, experience comes with it. This time now of being overwhelmed, will too, pass. If we choose to tackle it head on this time, next time it will be easier to accomplish. The habits you form and fall into are based on prior or current experience, if you choose to fall into and become overwhelmed by hard experiences then you are only more prone to becoming overwhelmed at the sight of adversity in future. Vise versa, decide this time not to fall into that despair, and next time you will already have that natural ability. Time also heals all things, the pressure you face will not occupy your mind forever, so don’t fall into the habit of thinking life is over, cause there’s plenty of time for it to correct itself, and it is usually through tough times that the brighter ones come to fluorescence. Wield time to favour you, practise habits which will benefit you long term, and overcome those which you don’t wish to keep presenting themselves.
