Energy
Energy
With each passing moment an abundance of energy flows through us. Through all senses, sight, smell, taste, touch and sound, energy flows through us then passes into the next moment. Energy comes in infinite amount for every individual, when we open ourselves to the experiences of life, we open our pathways to the potential for unlimited, unwavering energy to flow in and out of us, enriching our lives with each moment we accept rather than reject.
Open Energy
Open energy comes in the form of accepting all that is. It is being open and reciprocal to all events, people and experiences around us to the point we are able to appreciate all life has to offer, positive, negative, experience and change. Something as simple as digging a hole in the backyard can be enjoyed and filled with vibrant energy if we choose to open ourselves to the experience, being with the moment rather than to reject it. When we are sluggish and tired, we can delve deep into the rejection of every effortful task we need to do, our energy weakens just at the thought. Someone breaks up and is burdened with sadness for months on end, bedridden each day they only grow to become more tired. Out of the blue a massage comes through, the love of their life now wants the relationship back. The one bedridden now jumps with joy, ecstatic with thought and enthusiastic about the day. Where did all this energy come from? It was not there for the past few months? This is the difference between open and closed. Energy always surrounds you in abundance at every moment of your life, but when something in life is rejected, energy becomes blocked and no longer flows through you. It is in perception alone which allows you to be open all the time, to all experiences, including change and misfortunes. Open yourself to the experience you’re having right here, right now, open your heart to it and accept it for everything it is, open yourself and feel the stockade of energy run through you.
Closed Energy
Closed energy is shutting yourself off to the world, experiences or people who are involved. When you close your energy it means you are not accepting something as it truly is. Something as simple as cooking dinner for yourself can become a lengthy fatiguing task when you decide you don’t feel like doing it and close the experience off to yourself. This is what it means to be closed, to not accept an experience for what it is, to not open yourself to what is in front of you. It is to resist the current experience or life circumstance you are a participant in. When you close your energy, no energy runs through you, it is restricting and enjoyment and happiness can only be found in very few things.
Blocked Energy
When you walk through a park you take in all the energies around you. Sight of the trees, the feeling of the wind and sounds of the birds chirping with each passing step, but then you cross someone who looks a little like your ex, your thought dwells and all other energies are forgotten, this stagnant repeating thought signifies an energy which has been blocked, an energy prevented from moving through oneself and into the next moment. What happens when you trap energy? Well you can’t really experience the following energy can you? You think deeply upon the energy you have just blocked, expanding and exaggerating upon it in an attempt to reflect and control until the remainder of your walk dissipated into endless thought and all other energy forgotten. This is a common phenomenon, people trap energy in problems then spend all their willpower to control them. When one problem is solved, or shoved down in the psyche there will only be another to take its place. Moments of discomfort aren’t experienced then released; they are experienced then dwelled upon. Why keep a hurtful energy in your psyche if it only causes further pain and suffering?
Flowing Energy
Be with the pain when the initial energy flows through you, feel the furnace in your heart but do not hold the burning sensation or your heart and mind will overheat. Let the energy flow through you, feel the energy, burn it up, and release it from your awareness so that new energy may emerge in the new present. Energy flows when the moment you receive it is the moment you release it. Life takes form then dissolves into the next moment, the energy of the prior moment should flow through your awareness, thoughts and emotions the moment it takes place and then released so that the next moment may take its place. When you are the awareness which sees, takes in energy and then releases it in the moment it was born you are present, and common sense will guide the decisions you make rather than emotion and excessive thinking. Picture all thoughts, all senses, all emotions as an energy which flows through you. Your hearts feels this energy, your psyche too, and the pure consciousness which is you. A moment of energy flows in, then flows out, the moment has been experienced, now the next moment energy flows in, then out, this is what it means to experience life through a constant flow of energies around you. Each moment is experienced with complete awareness of the moment and feelings around it, but it is not held on to. To hold on would be to prevent all other energies from flowing through you, it is to dwell where something no longer exists. The moment you receive it, is the moment you release it, this is how you experience an appreciation of life in the present, with a constant stream of energy flowing through you.
